Our Electoral Strategy in Italy - Afstemning ved DiEM25 medlemmer

Please choose between the following three options for DiEM25 in Italy regarding the May 2019 European Parliament elections. If unsure, there is a summary of pros and cons here.

 

OPTION 1

 

·      The electoral wing of DiEM25 Italia will contest the May 2019 European Parliament elections with its members being part of a list of candidates (representing as broad an alliance of progressive forces as possible).

·      This list will be part of the EUROPEAN SPRING and all candidates in it must endorse, in its entirety, the program of the EUROPEAN SPRING entitled A NEW DEAL FOR EUROPE.

·      The process of collecting the 150 thousand signatures necessary to qualify will begin immediately after the list of candidates is finalised via an all-member DiEM25 vote.

 

OPTION 2

 

·      The electoral wing of DiEM25 Italia will contest the May 2019 European Parliament elections with its members being part of a list of candidates (representing as broad an alliance of progressive forces as possible).

·      This list will not necessarily be part of the EUROPEAN SPRING and not all candidates in it must endorse, in its entirety, the program of the EUROPEAN SPRING entitled A NEW DEAL FOR EUROPE.

·      An all-member DiEM25 vote must approve this alliance.

 

OPTION 3

 

The electoral wing of DiEM25 Italia will not contest the May 2019 European Parliament elections.
