The most important thing first of all: We coordinate in Bremen and around an election campaign team that wants to reach many people in the next weeks with the program of „Demokratie in Europa“ and DiEM25. For this we need you all: So come to our campaign meeting on 25.4. at 7:30 pm in the Ausspann (Schnoor 1).

A Citizen’s Takeover – Join Europe’s first transnational grassroots campaign!
From 23th to 26th of May, 500 million citizens of the European Union will be called to the European elections. Our movement „Democracy in Europe Movement 2025“ (DiEM25) already has 100,000 members throughout Europe and the „European Spring“ – the first transnational electoral list initiated by us with a common pro-gramme – already has 14 partner parties in ten European countries. Now it is time to mobilise all forces to bring the „European Spring“ programme with „Demokratie in Europa“ and the 20 candidates around Yanis Varoufakis to the EU Parliament. Together, we want to show them through various grassroots actions in Bremen: We are ready to take over Europe and to bring a New Deal for Europe to all regions of Europe.

Now We Take Over!

We have a unique opportunity to bring real change and build a new Europe that has never existed before. Become part of the 0.1 percent of progressive Europeans – 50,000 grassroots activists – who will shake Europe awake. We need a movement in our cities, countries and transnationally that Europe has never seen before. The task is difficult and the vision may sound crazy. But we need nothing less than the first pan-european grassroots election campaign for the first transnational elec-toral list of the „European Spring“. Let us implement a common, non-violent action week plan and practice constructive disobedience. Let us courageously write the history of a new Europe. Now we take over – in the streets, pubs, squares of Bremen. Come by to our kick-off meeting point. Every Thursday at 19.30 o’clock we meet in the Ausspann (Schnoor 1). In a relaxed atmosphere we want to present you our timetable for the election campaign. Afterwards we have time for many, many questions, suggestions, ideas and to get to know each other.
