Protestival to reduce air traffic in favour of the train
The Event
The DSC Amsterdam 1 participates to the Protestival organised by Greenpeace Nederland on December 14th and 15th to reduce the air traffic in Europe in favour of the train

The Schiphol Group (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Lelystad) produces 13,6 megaton C02 each year
If we are seriously concerned about the climate disruption then we should:
1. Fly only if it is strictly necessary, less flying=less CO2
2. To travel in Europe up to 1000 km take the train
3. Stop the opening of Lelystad Airport, stop the enlargement of Schiphol
4. Introduce Fair price for flying
5. Meet virtually instead of travelling by plane
