Sexual violence is an immense problem. Globally, one in three women on the planet have to face sexual violence and in the Netherlands alone, there are a 100.000 survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse and rape every year (CBS). We can't sit still any longer. That is why DiEM25NL is joining the Night Against Sexual Violence organised by PLAN International!

On the night of March 11th we are joining more than fifty teams on a 20km fundraiser walk through parts of Rotterdam that you would normally avoid at night. During the walk we will hear stories* from girls and women all around the world that have to deal with (the threat of) sexual violence on a regular basis.
