In deze actie- en netwerkconferentie bespreken we onze ideeën en acties en gaan we samen aan het werk*. Wil je je inzetten voor vrede? Dan ben je van harte uitgenodigd om kennis te maken en mee te denken! Naast plenaire sessies met sprekers uit de vredesbeweging kun je deelnemen aan deelsessies over thema's als: militarisering, de NAVO-top in juni 2025, wapenhandel, propaganda, lokale vredesgroepen, klimaat en vrede, internationale solidariteit en vredeseducatie.

Als je mee wilt helpen met organiseren van evenementen en acties in Nederland voor vrede, registreer dan ook je naam via de knop op deze pagina van DiEM25. Een DiEM25 coordinator neemt dan contact met je op om samen te kijken waar jouw inzet het hardste nodig is.

De Nieuwe Vredesbeweging, een platform van ruim 20 vredesorganisaties, is mede door DiEM25 opgericht in september 2024. Wij verzetten ons tegen de toenemende oorlogsretoriek. Overal gaan militaire budgetten omhoog, de wapenhandel is lucratiever dan ooit en de roep om dienstplicht opnieuw in te voeren groeit. Wij willen deze trend keren. We staan voor dialoog en de-escalatie.

In this action and network conference we will discuss our ideas and actions and we will get to work together*. Do you want to commit yourself to peace? Then you are cordially invited to get acquainted and think along! In addition to plenary sessions with speakers from the peace movement, you can participate in breakout sessions on themes such as: militarization, the NATO summit in June 2025, arms trade, propaganda, local peace groups, climate and peace, international solidarity and peace education.

The New Peace Movement, a platform of over 20 peace organizations, was co-founded by DiEM25 in September of 2024. We oppose the increasing rhetoric of war. Military budgets are increasing everywhere, the arms trade is more lucrative than ever and the call for the reintroduction of conscription is growing. We want to reverse this trend. We stand for dialogue and de-escalation.
