Diem25 is participating in the 8th International Degrowth Conference: Caring Communities for Radical Change, which begins next week (https://www.degrowth.nl/)!

The Political Ecology Workgroup of  DiEM25’s  Spontaneous Collective in South Holland has organised a brainstorming workshop for the conference.

In the spirit of updating the Blueprint for Europe´s Just Transition, the objective of the workshop is to have a conversation and gather ideas regarding the Green New Deal for Europe and Degrowth. 

The format of this session will be a hybrid World Café workshop. The participants are invited to have an open dialogue around the main convergences and tensions of the Green New Deal and the Degrowth proposals towards designing concrete strategies that represent a synthesis of the two.

A few things regarding our participation in the conference:

1. The hybrid (online and offline) workshop will take place in the International Institute of Social Studies (Kortenaerkade 12, The Hague, Netherlands) on Wednesday 25th August from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (CEST)
