Evenimentul

Every year we commemmorate the Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. While this commemoraion has alsways been important, right now, it's even more urgent. The cruelty of the genocide that Israel is carrying out today is a continuation of a century of colonial violence. Only an end to colonial rule, military occupation, apartheid laws and the displacement of Palestinian refugees can put an end to it. 

Therefore we call on Dutch institutions, companies and the government to:

 

Mobilize all diplomatic, economic, and political pressure to demand an immediate ceasefire. Provide all possible emergency aid of food, medical, and material supplies to address the damage caused by Israel. 

Permanently cease arming Israel

Sever all ties with companies and institutions complicit in the oppression of the Palestinian people.
Impose sanctions against Israel until the illegal occupation and blockade ends, the more than 65 anti-Palestinian laws are repealed, and the right of return for Palestinian refugees is upheld.
We start 11 mei on the Damsquare at 13:00 with speeches, stories of Palestinians and Nakba witnesses
We march towards Museumplein, where there will be food, music and celebrating Palestinian cultures of resistance.
