The Event
A double crisis? Climate and international law under attack.
Responding to the climate crisis requires a strong regulatory framework based on international law. Yet, this is not what we see. The urgency of the climate crisis is overtaken by geopolitical concerns, while international law is quickly losing its stabilising and regulatory role. We will discuss how this double crisis undermines what has been achieved in more than three decades of global collaboration.
